Swedish Massage:
Swedish massage is a gentle technique that relaxes the entire body using long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Sticks or Stones:
Penetrating heat from smooth, oiled, warmed basalt, pink salt stones or bamboo are used to relieve tense muscles and sore joints. Combined with Swedish techniques, this creates an unforgettable, thoroughly relaxing experience. The heat from hot stones/bamboo loosens muscles, melts through adhesions, and brings more blood and oxygen to cells. This creates a deeper treatment than regular massage. Traditional Thai/Yoga Bodywork:
Thai massage is an ancient form of bodywork practiced in Thailand for over 2500 years. Using no oil, this massage aims to release tension, increase vitality and flexibility. It helps to create wholeness of the body, mind and spirit. It is a masterful fusion of Indian Ayurvedic stretching techniques, the Chinese method of deep tissue pressure point therapy, as well as indigenous healing practices of ancient Siam. Prenatal Massage:
